A bit about me

I'm a film photographer from Scotland, based in the French Alps. I shoot on various cameras, especially the ones passed down from my grandfather and father. The ocean and the mountains are my inspiration. My one wish at the moment is for Kodak to bring back the Kodachrome film stock. Follow me on my Instagram @alexandrasfilmcam for more of my work.

Film photography is the closest thing to being in the moment whilst also capturing the moment, and for that reason I love it. I think shooting on film is incredibly important, more so now than ever before. We live in a world of fleeting moments and rushing around, film slows us down and brings us back into the moment.
